Tony LaJeunesse, AIF®

Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) & Wealth Management Advisor

I was born in the city of Trenton located in Southeast Michigan in an area known as “Downriver”. Downriver is the unofficial name for a collection of 18 cities and townships in Wayne County, Michigan, south of Detroit, along the western shore of the Detroit River.   Downriver’s residents have a very diverse work history with an emphasis in manufacturing. We work in steel mills, automotive factories, engineering facilities, energy plants, and retail spaces to name a few. It’s a very close-knit community. They say that “six degrees of separation” is the idea that all people are six or fewer social connections away from each other. In “Downriver” it’s probably 3 degrees of separation! I remember my dad, telling me when I was growing up, to “keep a clean nose in the community, you never know who you’re going to run into later in life”. That lesson has stayed with me my entire life.

Michelle LaFuente, AIF®

Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) Designee & Wealth Management Advisor

Michelle earned a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan with a concentration in Finance.  She entered the financial industry representing financial advisors, but found that she was better suited working directly with clients.  With parents who are entering the retirement phase of their lives, she knows how important planning and preparation can be.

Erin Wozniak, RICP®

Wealth Management Advisor

Erin joined the team at TL Financial Group in 2011.  Her initial role was that of  Marketing Assistant.  As she fulfilled her marketing and compliance duties, she realized the importance and the value of the services provided to the clients of TL Financial Group.  During this time, she made the decision to pursue a career as a  Wealth Management Advisor. Over the course of her career, Erin has been involved with a network of educators that focus on financial education.

Christina Perna

Operations Manager

Christina came to TL Financial Group in 2005 as an administrative assistant and was the first employee.  She joined TL Financial Group to be part of a firm that was committed to helping the community through financial planning and education.  Since 2005, our family of clients has quadrupled, and the firm has grown from one advisor and one employee to three advisors and five employees.

Kathy "Kat" Vallie

Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional

Kat very proudly came to TL Financial Group in December 2012 with over 27 years’ experience in banking, serving in various roles including management. She began as an Administrative Assistant. In 2015, Kat took her career a step further. She immersed herself in a rigorous curriculum in the financial planning process and earned a designation for Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional – FPQP® from College for Financial Planning.

Client Service Assistant

Kelly is a supportive team member to our firm. She facilitates paperwork for clients, handles distributions in a timely manner and updates client account information to allow us to meet our client’s objectives.

Robin Smith

Administrative Assistant

Robin joined TL Financial in 2008. She will often be the first voice you hear  when calling the office, or coming in for your appointment. She is responsible for scheduling appointments and assisting our team in daily office operations.

Stacy Honeycutt

Marketing Coordinator

Stacy joined TL Financial Group in 2014 and has lived in the Downriver area her entire life. In addition to coordinating workshops and events, Stacy also requests and maintains approval of our material for compliance requirements, develops our marketing strategies, and maintains our web site and social media
